The deductible for the first instance is 750 SEK, which is approximately half of the deductible for a home insurance. However, this is depending on
- that you have locked your bike
- made a police report and sent it to us
- still possess the key (and give it back to us)
If no police report has been provided to Jonna or the bicycle has not been locked, we will charge the higher deductible of (3,500 SEK) before supplying another a bike or ending a subscription.
Read the text below carefully and make sure to do it in the right order. That way the situation can be resolved within an hour or even faster.
1. Check that you have the frame number of the bike. It should say on your key tag. If you have lost your key tag, email support and ask for the frame number.
2. Create a report via the Police website/phone/visit. It is important that you state Jonna AB as the plaintiff (we are exposed to the crime in your report), and state the frame number. Note that quick online reports can only be made if you have a Swedish social security number (personnummer). We want you (the contract holder) to report the theft and identify yourself with your personal number, and if you don't have that - passport number. You can always report a crime, even if you are not a Swedish national. T
In step 2 of the digital reporting process you enter "Company, authority or organisation" for the question "Who has been exposed to the crime?". Then enter the information below before proceeding with the process.
Organisation number: 5592491541
Company name: Jonna AB
Address: Jonna AB, c/o Stålhästen Cyklar AB, St Eriksgatan 106, 11331 Stockholm
County: Stockholms län
Phone number: 020 89 94 34
As for the description of the bike, write: Green unisex bicycle with 28 inch wheels, 7 speeds, basket and handbrake. The chain guard is yellow and on the frame Jonna is written in yellow. The bicycle is marked with serial number/frame no of your bike (starting with JA...).
3. When the report has been made, email hej@jonnabike.se again and attach the police report as a PDF with the case number (starts with 5000 or e-report starts with I-53) as title or in the text. We will at that point send you an invoice for the high or low deductible depending on the info we see in the report. Let us know if you would like to pick up a bike or prefer home delivery, and we will get back with the first available slot in response.
We want to sort out a new bike to you as soon as we possibly can, but to "close a theft case" and hand you a new bike - we first need case number, police report and your key (which you hand in when you get a new bike). If you are stressed or want to sort a bike fast but don't have time to report - come by our store and we'll help you with a replacement bike in the meanwhile, and take your ID/passport as deposit and take the deductible fee on the spot.
In the event of theft, we assume you will get a new bike - to promote the right behavior. If you do not wish to pick up a new bike - you must explicitly tell support so and the deductible will be adjusted. As such, if you report your bike as stolen and close the theft case by paying deductible, handing back key, and supplying report - we will first cancel your subscription +30 days from the point the case was closed.
